SHOCHU is another Japanese traditional alcoholic drink. It is distilled alcoholic drink made from rice, sweet potato, buckwheat, sugar cane, barely and so on.
Although SHOCHU has 20% to 40% alcohol by volume, so it is more like spirits, so it is often mixed with ice and water, hot water, soda, tea, juice and so on – to enjoy the aroma of SHOCHU more, mixing with ice and water or hot water is better.
Be careful not to drink too much.
InJapan, the law provides that no one under age 20 can drink alcohol.
