As I mentioned, a bowl of rice topped with curry is the most popular way to eat curry in Japan. But there are other ways to eat curry in Japan. So I want to introduce two popular ways of them.
One of them is KARE-PAN. It is a fried bread which has curry paste inside.
Another one is KARE-UDON. It is UDON with curry soup.
Curry is improved for them. For example, for KARE-PAN curry is boiled until the water has evaporated more, for KARE-UDON soup stock made from bonito is added into curry.
Those are reasonable, so try them.
