When it comes to soup in Japan, MISO soup may spring to mind. But delicious soup we have is not only MISO soup. It is KASUJIRU(粕汁).
KASUJIRU is a kind of soup made with SAKEKASU(酒粕) instead of MISO.
SAKEKASU is the residue when NIHONSHU(日本酒) is produced. It hardly include alcohol, but it has good aroma like NIHONSHU.
To be warm in this season, it is definitely good food.
