Japanese like wearing a mask.

You can see many people wearing a mask. As I mentioned one of the reasons is to keep out cedar pollen. Another reason is to stop the spread of the influenza. Probably those things are easy to understand. But it seems that some people like wearing a mask itself. Because they wear it less practically. For example, some of them wear it to shut bad breath, especially next day of the drinking party. Also some women do it to cover their face because they want to hide their unpainted face. The worse reason is to avoid to be spoken by someone – in some case, including acquaintances.
Basically masks are to keep healthy, but I guess that those ways to use masks are not good for their health.
They are giving priority to a less important thing, right?
