Is there always room for sweets?

As I mentioned, WAGASHI(和菓子) sweets are very yummy. Also WASHOKU(和食) or Japanese cuisine is very delicious, too. Therefore, you need a big stomach to enjoy both of them enough. Especially to eat WAGASHI as dessert, you need to keep room. Is it possible?
Japanese women often insist that they can do that. According to them, there is always room for sweets in their body. They call that room BETSUBARA(別腹)- literally means “another stomach”.
In fact, women, who are full up, order dessert after eating meals.
Although it is unbelievable for me ・・・
